Instructions for Poster Presenters

As the AgriVoltaics World Conference 2024 approaches, we would like to provide you with some guidance on how to prepare and submit your poster.

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, but the poster session will be on-site only. Therefore, all poster presenters must attend the conference and present on-site.

General instructions:

• All posters must be displayed and presented on-site in Denver.
• Poster presenters are requested to bring their own printed poster in DIN A0 format (or equivalent). It is not possible to print your poster at the conference venue.
• The Poster Session will be held on Wednesday, June 12, between 16:30 and 18:30 local time. Poster presenters are expected to stand next to their posters during this dedicated session.

Upload to the Fourwaves Internal Area:

Poster presenters are invited to upload their poster in PDF format to the Fourwaves platform by June 4 to be made available to conference participants in the password-protected Fourwaves internal area. Please note that this is not mandatory. The poster PDF must be uploaded in high display quality.

To upload the files, please go to your submission page on the Fourwaves Dashboard, select your submission, then click “Edit Submission” on the right, and upload the files in the appropriate section. Once you are finished, remember to save the form. Please do not make any other changes to your submission form except for the Presentation Upload section and the submission authors contact information, or your submission may become invalid.

We ask on-site presenters to take care of the following:

• You are responsible for printing your poster in advance and for putting it up at the conference. It is not possible to print your poster at the venue.
  • Your poster should be with a maximum size of DIN A0 portrait format: width: max. 84 cm (33 inches), height: max. 119 cm (47 inches)
• Please make sure that the text is sufficiently large to be read from a distance of 1-3 m.
• Please mount your poster on Tuesday, June 11. Mounting material will be provided.
• In order to find the spot where your poster should be mounted, appropriate signs will be put up on each poster wall indicating the author’s name, poster title, and submission ID. To find your submission ID simply head to your submission page on the Fourwaves Dashboard and select your submission. If you have difficulties finding your assigned poster spot at the conference site, please seek out one of our staff members and we will be happy to assist you.
• Please do not remove your poster before the conference ends. The posters are an integral part of the scientific program, and should be displayed the entire time.
• Please remove your poster directly after the closing session on Friday at the latest. Posters remaining after the conference has ended will be discarded.

Presenter Registration Deadline:

If they haven’t done so yet, please make sure that the presenter of your submission has registered for the conference by May 14. If no author or co-author are registered by May 14, the presentation will be removed from the program. Paper submission for the conference proceedings:

You are invited to submit a full paper (5-8 pages) for publication in the AgriVoltaics World Conference 2024 Proceedings. However, this is not mandatory. Please note that only papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication in the proceedings.
